The US Dollar rose against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 39.00 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair climbed to a fresh more than two month high in the Asian session as the Lira resumed its upward course amid ongoing concerns about high inflation. In Turkey, Turkish Economic Confidence Index data for May (96.60 last month) will be posted (08:00 GMT+1). In the US, Fed Member Williams will speak (14:00 GMT+1) and Fed Meeting Minutes will be released (19:00 GMT+1).
