The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 40.60 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair recorded a ten day high in the Asian session this morning after yesterday’s inflation figures suggested that little is being achieved to bring inflation down from elevated levels. In Turkey, there are no data releases today. In the US, Services PMI data for July (55.2 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT+1) and ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for July (51.5 exp) will be posted (15:00 GMT+1).
