The US Dollar edged higher against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 40.90 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair was higher on Thursday, after top Turkish economic officials discussed the impact of credit growth control outlining steps for further implementation. In Turkey, Net FX Reserves data will be released (12:30 GMT+1). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (226K exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
