The US Dollar climbed against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 41.90 levels.
The USD/TRY traded at another all time high in the Asian session, as concerns continued to mount over Turkey’s long term high inflation, putting pressure on the Lira. In Turkey, the one week Repo rate (interest rate) for October (39.5%) will be posted (12:00 GMT+1). In the US, Existing Home Sales data for September (4.06 mln expected) will be posted (15:00 GMT+1).*
