The US Dollar retreated against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading below 157.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded lower in the European Session, as the Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama said that a forex intervention was possible to deal with the problem of the falling yen. In Japan, Bank Services PMI for November came in on target at 53.1. In the US, S&P Global Manufacturing PMI for November (52.0 exp) and S&P Global Services PMI for November (54.6 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT).*
