Q2 EARNINGS REVIEW
- RECORD QUARTERLY REVENUE: $28.2 BILLION. Tesla reported record quarterly revenue of $28.2 billion, beating analysts' expectations. This represents an increase of around 25% compared with the same period last year.
- RECORD Q2 VEHICLE DELIVERIES: The company achieved its highest-ever second-quarter deliveries. Tesla reported 480,126 vehicle deliveries in the second quarter, well above analysts' expectations of 406,000. The result marked a 25% increase compared with the same period last year and a 34% increase from the first quarter's 358,023 deliveries.
- MASSIVE INVESTMENTS IN AI AND ROBOTICS: CEO Elon Musk reaffirmed that Tesla will continue investing aggressively in artificial intelligence, Optimus humanoid robots, autonomous driving, and AI infrastructure. Capital expenditures increased to $5.8 billion in Q2 2026, up approximately 142% from $2.4 billion in the same period last year.

EVENTS
- EVENT (THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3): TESLA CYBERCAB LAUNCH EVENT IN AUSTIN (TEXAS, USA). Tesla is expected to showcase the production version of the Cybercab, a purpose-built autonomous vehicle designed to operate without a steering wheel or pedals. Tesla describes it as its fully autonomous robotaxi. Cybercab becomes a real production vehicle, rather than just a concept. Tesla is preparing Cybercabs for operation in Austin, with the fleet already increasing substantially ahead of the event. Investors will want to know the expected price, production volumes and economics of operating robotaxis.
- EVENT (EXPECTED: SEPTEMBER 10, 2026): CHINA MONTHLY CAR SALES (AUGUST). Tesla's July 2026 sales from its Shanghai (China) plant (including domestic sales and exports) reached 93,579 units, which was a 37.8% increase from the same period last year.
- OPTIMUS GEN 3 UNVEILING (EXPECTED: SEPTEMBER 2026): TESLA HUMANOID ROBOT UPDATE. Tesla is expected to unveil its Optimus 3 (Gen 3) humanoid robot in September 2026, showcasing the next stage of its robotics and AI hardware roadmap.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS AND PRICE ACTION
- SUPPORT: $300. After testing levels near $300 in July, a strong support level that has held since late 2024, Tesla’s stock price has recovered over the past few weeks to above $360.
- TESLA STOCK PRICE HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH ON DECEMBER 22, 2025: $497.68. Tesla's stock price is currently around $361, and if a recovery to its all-time highs happens, a potential upside of around 38% could be achieved. However, it could also decline.
