The Australian Dollar fell against the US Dollar during European trading below 0.6100 levels.

The AUD/USD fell in the European session as China announced counter tariffs on US goods which could indirectly hinder the entire trade in the Far East and Pacific. In Australia there are no major data releases today. In the US, CB Employment Trend Index data for March (108.56 last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT+1).
