The Australian Dollar increased against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6600 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair has traded upward in the European session, as US - China trade talks were announced for next week, which means Australia’s biggest trading partner - China will probably have increased economic growth and greater trade with Australia. In Australia, Manufacturing PMI for July was released with data being higher for this month than the month before (51.6 this month vs 50.6 for the previous one). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (227k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1), Manufacturing PMI (52.7 exp) and Services PMI (53.0 exp) data for July will be released (14:45 GMT+1).
