The Australian Dollar fell against the US Dollar during European trading below 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair declined in the European session, as worse than expected economic data came out of China, one of Australia’s biggest trading partners. In Australia, Building Approvals for June was 11.9% vs 1.8% exp. In the US, Core PCE Price Index data for June (2.7% expected) and Initial Jobless Claims (222k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
