In European trading, the US Dollar rose against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.3800 levels.
The USD/CAD currency pair increased in the European session, as more hawkish tones from the FED created positive pressure for the US dollar. In Canada, the Bank of Canada Interest Rate decision was released with interest rates holding steady at (2.75%). In the US, Core PCE Price Index data for June (2.7% expected) and Initial Jobless Claims (222k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
