On Monday, oil prices rose due to mounting global supply concerns driven by increased geopolitical risks.

Ongoing attacks on oil refineries and escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine are still posing threats to major oil routes, exerting continued pressure on oil prices.

Additionally, optimism for a cease-fire in the Middle East diminished following the UN's inability to pass a resolution for Gaza on Friday, further contributing to the geopolitical uncertainties influencing oil markets.
