The Euro moved higher on Friday. It is currently 1.20501. Almost all of European PMI’s released today beat their forecasts. The exception was the German Services PMI figure which missed. French Manufacturing and Services PMI’s for April printed at 59.2 and 50.4 respectively. German manufacturing PMI for April came in at 66.4, above its estimate of 65.8. German Services PMI for April was 50.1. Analysts were looking for 50.8. The Eurozone Composite PMI for April printed at 53.7. The consensus forecast was 52.8. The United States will release its Manufacturing and Services PMI’s for April along with New Home Sales figures for March later today.
