In European trading, the euro rose against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD traded upward, in the European session, reaching a more than a three year high, as Trump's accusations towards FED chair Jerome Powell undermined investors' confidence in FED’s independence and the US dollar. In Europe, German GfK Consumer Climate data for July came in with data being lower than expected (-20.3 realised vs -19.1 expected). In the US, Q1 QoQ GDP data (-0.2% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (244k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
