The US Dollar retreated against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading below 145.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded lower in the European session, as investors are moving away from the US dollar following US President Donald Trump expressing an interest to substitute FED Chairman Jerome Powell. In Japan, Foreign Investment in Japanese stocks came out with data being lower for this month than for the previous month (-524.3B this month vs 473.3B for the previous one). In the US, Q1 QoQ GDP data (-0.2% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (244k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
