In European trading, the euro increased against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD rose in the European Session, as the US government is still shutdown creating negative pressures for the US dollar. In the Eurozone, German Services PMI data for September came out lower than expected (51.5 realised vs 52.5 expected). In the US, ISM Non Manufacturing data (51.8 exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).*
