During European trading, the British Pound climbed against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD rose in the European session as the US dollar is under negative pressure following increased odds of interest rate cuts by the FED as the only US labor market data coming out is showing a bad condition in the US labor market. In the UK, Services PMI data for September was released with data being lower than expected (50.8 realised vs 51.9 expected). In the US, ISM Non Manufacturing data (51.8 exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1). *
