In European trading, the euro increased against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD edged higher in the European Session, following concerns over the solidity of US regional banks and the fact that a Trump - Putin meeting could happen in the next couple of weeks. In the Eurozone, CPI Inflation data for September came out in line with expectations (2.2%). In the US, Industrial Production for September (0.1% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).*
*Most US Government data will not be published (or will be delayed) because of a government shutdown. Non government US data will be released as normal.
