The British Pound crawled sideways in a very tight range on Thursday ahead of the pending Bank of England announcement on interest rates. It is currently 1.39671. The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee is expected to leave rates unchanged at 0.10% but investors are waiting to parse their meeting minutes for cles as to when they may hike rates or slow down their Quantitative Easing program. The United States will release weekly unemployment data and durable goods data for May this afternoon.
