During European trading, the British Pound decreased against the US Dollar, trading below 1.2450 levels.

In this morning's session, the British Pound fell sharply against the American Dollar and it is currently maintaining its price. In the UK, there are no major data releases today. In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment for December (136k exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (214k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
