During European trading, the British Pound climbed against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD currency pair increased as the dollar weakened against most of its rivals with markets expectations that the Fed will cut rates at least 3 times this year, despite higher than expected NFP data on Friday In the UK, Nationwide HPI for April was released with data being lower than expected (3.4% realised vs 4.1% expected). In the UK, there are no data releases due to a national holiday. In the US, S&P Global Services PMI for April (51.2 expected) will be released (14:45 GMT+1) and ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for April (50.8 exp) will be posted (15:00 GMT+1).
