During European trading, the British Pound edged lower against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.3500 levels.
The GBP/USD currency traded downward in the European Session, as worse than expected retail sales data came out of the UK. In the UK, Retail Sales came out with data being lower than expected (1.7% realised vs 1.8% expected). In the US, Durable Goods Orders data (-10.4% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
