During European trading, the British Pound rose up against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3100 levels.
The GBP/USD traded higher in the European session, as the British finance minister is set to unveil Britain's new budget for the coming year. In the UK, the Autumn Forecast Statement will be held (12:30 GMT). In the US, Q3 GDP figures (3.8% previous) and Initial Jobless Claims (220k prev) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1). Core PCE Price Index data for September (0.3% exp) will also be released (15:00 GMT).*
*The government shutdown has now concluded, but most US Government data will still be delayed. Non government US data will be released as normal.
