During European trading, the British Pound fell down against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD traded lower in the European session, as lower than expected UK retail sales are creating negative pressure on the pound. In the UK, Retail Sales data for November came out lower than expected (0.6% realised vs 1.6% expected). In the US, Core PCE Price Index data for October (2.8% last month) will be released (13:30 GMT).
