The US Dollar advanced against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading above 157.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded higher in the European Session, after the BoJ hiked its interest rate, however the uncertainty over the BoJ’s future interest rate hikes in 2026 is creating positive pressure for the pair. In Japan, the Bank of Japan met and decided to hike interest rates by 25 basis points to 0.75%. In the US, Core PCE Price Index data for October (2.8% last month) will be released (13:30 GMT).
