In the European session, the German Benchmark Index traded steady above 18,200 levels.
European shares edged higher on Monday, supported by strength in commodity-linked stocks, although investor caution ahead of euro zone inflation data curbed gains.
On the data front, the euro zone final inflation data for the month February came in at the expected 2.6% and the region's total trade balance for January came in lower than the previous reading (11.4B vs 16.8B).
Investors will also await the Federal Reserve and Bank of England's policy meetings, due later this week, for more clues on the monetary policy easing cycle.
