Fundamental analysis
26 March, 2024
Gold prices are trading in today’s European session higher above 2190 levels.
Gold prices jumped during the European session as investors look ahead to the PCE Price Index from the United States. The PCE Index is the Federal Reserve’s preferred gauge of inflation in the economy and will be closely watched by investors.
Additionally Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will be speaking at a Monetary Policy Conference headed by the San Francisco Federal Reserve. This speech will be closely watched to see whether the Chairman will strike a dovish tone which could provide further support for Gold prices.
