U.S. stock futures inched higher on Monday to start an abridged trading week ahead of Thanksgiving, with corporate earnings in focus alongside economic data releases that could shift expectations over the pathway for interest rates.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 20 points, or 0.1%, after the index eked out a 1-point gain on Friday to finish at 34,947. S&P 500 futures rose 0.1% with contracts tracking the tech-heavy Nasdaq up 0.2%.
