U.S. stock index futures climbed on Monday following a significant sell-off on Wall Street last week. Disappointing earnings from several major U.S. banks, coupled with escalating tensions in the Middle East, had left investors cautious.
In the previous session, all three major indexes dropped by over 1%, resulting in weekly losses as the results from major U.S. banks failed to meet expectations.
Dow futures rose by 124 points, or 0.32%, S&P 500 futures were up by 27.25 points, or 0.53%, and Nasdaq 100 futures climbed by 108.25 points, or 0.60%.
