In European trading, the US Dollar increased against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.4380 levels.
The currency pair continued its upward climb for the third session in a row as the US threat of a 25% tariff on Canadian goods continued to put pressure on the Loonie. In Canada, Retail Sales figures for November (0.2% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (221k expected) will be posted (13:30 GMT) and President Trump will hold an online speech at the World Economic Forum (16:00 GMT).
