The US Dollar declined against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading below 147.90 levels.
The USD/JPY retreated amid continuing uncertainty as to whether the Bank of Japan will hike interest rates again this year as the dollar weakens against most of its rivals in the European session. In Japan, Industrial Production data for August came in at -1.2% vs -0.7% expected. In the US, CB Consumer Confidence for September (95.3 exp) and JOLTS Jobs Openings for August (7.150 mln exp) will be released (15:00 GMT +1).
