The US Dollar advanced against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading above 155.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded higher in the European Session, reaching levels as high since the beginning of the year, as the new Japanese government is still focusing on increasing fiscal spending and debt with signals to the Bank of Japan to delay interest rate rises, creating negative pressure on the yen. In Japan, Trade Balance data for October (-280.0 bln exp) will be posted (23:50 GMT). In the US, Industrial Production data for October (0.1% last month) will be revealed (14:15 GMT) and Fed Vice Chair for Supervision Barr will speak (15:30 GMT).*
