The US Dollar retreated against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading below 157.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded lower in the European Session, as the Japanese government announced a plan to cut wasteful government spending, creating a positive sentiment around the yen. In Japan, Corporate Services Price Index data (2.7% exp) will be released (23:50 GMT). In the US, the Dallas Producer Price Index (2.7% exp) and Retail Sales data (0.4% exp) for September will be released (13:30 GMT).*
