The US Dollar climbed higher against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 42.40 levels.
The USD/TRY rose in the European session, as long term inflation and monetary insecurity are exerting a steady stream of negative pressures on the Turkish lyra. In Turkey there are no scheduled data releases today. In the US, the Dallas Producer Price Index (2.7% exp) and Retail Sales data (0.4% exp) for September will be released (13:30 GMT).*
