In European trading, the US Dollar is trading higher against the Turkish Lira, trading above the 43.30 level.
USD/TRY advanced sharply in the European session, reaching fresh all time highs, as the Central bank of Turkey lowered its main interest rate by 1% to 37.00% despite chronically high double digit inflation. In Turkey, the Central Bank of Turkey lowered its One Week Repo Rate from 38% to 37%. In the US, S&P Global Services for January (52.9 exp) and S&P Global Manufacturing data for January (51.9 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT).
