In European trading, the US Dollar is trading higher against the Turkish Lira, trading above the 43.40 level.
USD/TRY advanced in the European session, as high double digit inflation continues to weigh on the Turkish lyra. In Turkey, Trade Balance data for December was posted with data being better than expected (-9.30B realised vs -9.40B expected). In the US, Producer Price Index data for December (0.2% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT) and Chicago PMI for January (43.5 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT).
