The Australian Dollar increased against the US Dollar during Asian trading above 0.6600 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair extended gains for the fifth on firm data releases this morning and a weakening greenback. In Australia, Manufacturing PMI for July released this morning was 51.6, above expectations. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (227k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1), Manufacturing PMI (52.7 exp) and Services PMI (53.0 exp) data for July will be released (14:45 GMT+1).
