The Australian Dollar declined against the US Dollar during Asian trading below 0.6600 levels.
The AUD/USD currency edged lower following a five day winning streak in the Asian session after better than expected Australian data this morning. In Australia, Current Account data for Q2 came in at -13.7 bln vs -15.9 bln exp. In the US, Manufacturing PMI for August (53.3 exp) and ISM Manufacturing PMI for August (48.9 exp) will be released at 14:45 and 15:00 GMT+1 respectively.
