The Australian Dollar rose against the US Dollar during Asian trading above 0.7100 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair edged higher after the publication of much stronger than expected GDP data this morning. In Australia, Year on year Q4 GDP figures came in at 2.6% vs 2.1% exp. In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment change for February (50k exp) and S&P Global Services PMI for February (52.3 exp) will be posted (13:15 and 14:45 GMT respectively).
