The Australian Dollar was down against the US Dollar during Asian trading below 0.7100 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair declined after the publication of poorer than expected Aussie trade data coupled with reports that China will revise its GDP target lower to 4.5% - 5%. China is Australia’s largest trading partner. In Australia, Year on year Trade Balance figures for January came in at 2.631 bln vs 3.78 bln exp.
