The US Dollar edged lower against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session below 44.00 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair was slightly lower, despite hitting a fresh all time high in the early Asian session after economic data from Turkey suggested that high inflation would continue, while fears over rising energy costs complicate the situation further. In Turkey, Net FX Reserves (89.18% previous) will be released (11:30 GMT). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims (215k expected) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
