Oil looks vulnerable early Thursday with WTI futures trading below 78.50. Oil prices fell overnight after disappointing US data, prompting speculation in the market that the Federal Reserve (Fed) may pull back on its more aggressive stance today. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) Weekly Situation of Oil Report, crude oil volumes fell sharply to minus 6.135 million barrels in the week ending Aug. 18, below the forecast of minus 2.85 million barrels and the previous week's minus 596. 10,000 barrels disappeared.
