The EUR/USD pair appreciated and traded at 1.0571 this morning. The German Unemployment Rate for December printed 5.5% vs 5.6% expected. German Unemployment Change for December printed -13k. The consensus was 15k. German CPI Year-on-Year for December printed 8.6% vs 9.1% expected. French, German, Italian and Spanish PMIs for December will be reported later today. The Eurozone will report the S&P Global Composite PMI for December later today. The United States reported Manufacturing PMI for December at 46.2 as expected. ISM Manufacturing PMI and JOLTs Job Openings are also set to print later today. The FOMC Meeting minutes will be released tonight.
