In Asian trading, the Euro was lower against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD edged lower as traders adopted caution ahead of the ECB Interest rate decision and following yesterday’s weaker than expected US PPI data yesterday afternoon. In the Eurozone the European Central Bank will meet to decide on interest rates (exp 2%, unchanged) (13:15 GMT+1) and a press conference will be held (13:45 GMT+1). In the US, CPI Inflation data for August (2.9% expected) and US Initial Jobless Claims data (235k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT +1).
