During Asian trading, the British decreased against the US Dollar trading below 1.3600 levels.
The GBP/USD pair was slightly lower but traded within a range amid expectations that the Bank of England will hold rates steady at its next meeting and ahead of Friday’s UK GDP data. In the UK there are no data releases today. In the US, CPI Inflation data for August (2.9% expected) and US Initial Jobless Claims data (235k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT +1).
