In Asian trading, the Euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD lost ground after comments from President Trump suggested that trade progress had been made with China just ahead of the Trump Xi meeting, taking place today. In the Eurozone, Spanish GDP for Q3 (0.6% expected) will be released (08:00 GMT). In the US the Fed Interest Rate Decision for (cut of 0.25% to 4.0% exp) will be released (18:00 GMT).*
