During Asian trading, the British Pound fell against the US Dollar trading below 1.2700 levels.
The pair lacked any firm direction in the Asian session as traders looked to today’s UK inflation data and comments from Fed Chair Powell following the Fed interest rate decision. In the UK, CPI Inflation data for November (2.5% exp) will be released (07:00 GMT). In the US, the Fed Interest Rate Decision and Press Conference (4.5% exp) will be released / take place at 19:00 GMT and 19:30 respectively.
