During Asian trading, the British pound pushed higher against the US Dollar trading above 1.2900 levels.
The GBP/USD currency was firmly higher after falling to a two week low yesterday on weaker UK CPI data, suggesting that the Bank of England may be cutting interest rates again soon. In the UK Bank of England Member Dhingra will speak (08:30 GMT) and the Spring Forecast Statement will be released (10:00 GMT). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (225 exp) and US Q4 GDP data (2.3% exp) will be released (12:30 GMT).
