During Asian trading, the British pound weakened against the US Dollar trading below 1.3300 levels.
The GBP/USD currency pair traded lower after the Bank of England cut interest rates by 25 basis points and the UK signed a trade deal with the US, that will not remove 10% US tariffs upon the country. In the UK, the Bank of England Governor Bailey will speak (09:40 GMT+1). In the US, Fed Members Williams and Waller will speak at 13:30 GMT+1 and 16:30 GMT+1 respectively.
