The US Dollar surged against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 38.70 levels.
The USD/TRY jumped to a fresh seven week high after Turkey signed a number of business deals with Iraq. In Turkey there are no scheduled data releases today. In the US, Fed Members Williams and Waller will speak at 13:30 GMT+1 and 16:30 GMT+1 respectively.
