During Asian trading, the British pound inched lower against the US Dollar trading below 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD pair was little changed ahead of important UK employment data this morning and key US inflation data this afternoon. In the UK, the Average Earnings Index for June (5% last month) and Unemployment Rate figures for June (4.7% exp) will be released (07:00 GMT+1). In the US, CPI Inflation data for July (2.8% exp) will be revealed (13:30 GMT+1).
